Sibel Köse is certainly one of the best vocal jazz masters of Turkey. The pride of Ankara, 'sine qua non' of the festival is sharing the stage with guitarist, composer and jazz trainer Dave Allen. Dave Allen's 'Fantastic technique, a strong melodic sense, great compositions' in New York Times' words, meet the vocal of Sibel Köse. Outstanding jazz musicians of Turkey accompany this duo at this concert. We appreciate the support of Armada for this free open air concert.

Dave Allen is a guitarist that leading papers and magazines like New York Times, All About Jazz, Jazz Times Magazine frequently write about, and academician who lectured at New Jazz Academy for a long time. Besides his own projects, he makes world tours with musicians such as David Liebman (Miles Davis), Ravi Coltrane, Dave Binney, Jeff Ballard, Donny Mc Caslin, Drew Gress, Nasheet Waits, Marcus Gilmore, and Matt Wilson. Allen has a great reputation in New York jazz circles with his compositions, which demand an advanced rhythmic and harmonic vocabulary while still being strongly melodic and accessible.

Sibel Köse is one of the first names that comes to mind among the jazz musicians in Turkey. She gave countless concerts with leading jazz musicians in Turkey and abroad. In the quintet there will be Cem Aksel, who trims his experience to his music with his advanced technique, on drums; Kürşad Deniz, one of the most talented pianists of the new generation; Engin Recepoğulları, the irreplaceable soloist of orchestras with his technique, tone and creativity, on saxophones; and Kağan Yıldız, who gains righteous appreciation of the jazz musicians he accompanies, on contrabass.
