Bülent Ortaçgil is a music man beyond generations, a song writer and a philosopher. We are hosting this unique person who has a reputable and exceptional place in Turkish music history since the 1970s, in which he released his first EPs. We appreciate the support of Armada for hosting this free open air concert.

Bülent Ortaçgil was born in Ankara in 1950. The great success of his first EP Anlamsız/ Yüzünü Dökme Küçük Kız was continued with his Benimle Oynar mısın? album. In 'Çekirdek Art House', which he founded with Fikret Kızılok, they made numerous album recordings. His solo albums published in the 1990s, 2. Perde, Oyuna Devam, Light, and Eski Defterler followed these recordings. In the tribute album Ortaçgil için Söylenmiş Şarkılar (2000), many popular music artists from Turkey sang Ortaçgil songs. Gece Yalanları (2003) is his album which is closest to jazz. His latest album that symphonic arrangements prevail was released in 2010.

At this concert he is taking stage with Akın Eldes, a valuable musician both as a rock and jazz guitarist, a world-known jazz pianist Baki Duyarlar, a bass master Gürol Ağırbaş, the warm rhythms of Ortaçgil music Birol Ağırbaş in percussion and Cem Aksel who played in countless pop and jazz albums in Turkey on drums.
