Festival is honoted to host Turkish Naval Forces Stars Light Music and Jazz Orchestra with great voices: Ömür Göksel & Dilek Sert Erdoğan. We are thankful to maket his Bigband tradition living once again at the festival stage. We appreciate Turkish Naval Forces for their precious support.
“Deniz Yıldızları” (Sea Stars) Jazz Orchestra was established in 2008 by Turkish Navy Band petty officers who specialized in jazz music. The orchestra conducts works and studies on jazz music to capture larger audiences and performs highly distinguished works of worldwide and national artists successfully. Some pieces are rearranged by musicians of Deniz Yıldızları. “Deniz Yıldızları” has performed many concerts and participated in many festivals in Turkey and abroad, including Egypt, Tunisia, Spain, Italy, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Crotia. It has recently performed at 2nd Jazz Festival in Bodrum and 22nd International Ankara Jazz Festival, which amazed the audiences.
Ömür Göksel will be accompanying the Turkish Naval Forces Stars Light Music and Jazz Orchestra.
