Schäl Sick Brass Band is a colorful and international band consisting of Turkish, Greek, Iranian, Bavarian and Bulgarian musicians. This orchestra, blending their exciting ideas and innovative sounds with their passion for music, includes all kinds of music such as jazz, rock, funk, folk, band music, Balkan and Afro beats, Mid-East melodies. This band presents different kinds of music in a full harmony. Schal Sick Brass Band which has performed in Europe's important jazz festivals, spreads joy all over. BIOGRAPHY
Schäl Sick Brass Band started off as a large brass band on the 'Schäl Sick', the 'wrong side' of Cologne. This is where Raimund Kroboth, a great lover of world music, found a fertile soil for founding the Schäl Sick Brass Band. Kroboth, a native Bavarian and educated jazz guitarist, has assembled a band of international, virtuoso musicians. For 15 years now the band has been taking their audience on excursions to all continents.
