Ayşe Tütüncü Piano and Percussion Group
Ayse Tutuncu and Piano, Percussion Group is going to lock your ears to the stage with their beautiful sounds of tango, percussion, wind basses, piano, fusion. This concert which combines Anatolian sounds with classical music of the west, jazz and endemic melodies will not sound unfamiliar. Songs like "Hasta Siempre" will become alive with the instruments as they make you have the time of your lives with their magnificent improvisations.

AYŞE TUTUNCU BIOGRAPHY
Her album 'Çeşitlemeler' was released on 1999 at which she worked with the Piano & Percussion Group she assembled in 1995. They have played in several national and international music festivals. In 1999 she played in 'Conducting Improvisation Orchestra' of Lawrence 'Butch' Morris. Since 2004, with the trio she assembled other than the piano and percussion group she plays her new songs she particularly composed for 'two winds and one piano'. Trio released their new album 'Panayır' in 2005 and she played in Prag Open Jazz Festival. Ayşe Tutuncu prefers to stay in the middle in order to balance the tension between composed and improvised music. She has made variations, compositions, arrangements with free parts which are open for improvisations with the Piano and Percussion group since 1995.
